Since 1998, Delta Heavy Equipment has grown into one of South Africa’s established forklift and material handling equipment companies, providing forklift rental, sales, parts and technical support to businesses across a wide range of industries.
From a single forklift to large national fleets, our philosophy remains simple: we are large enough to handle the requirements of major industrial and corporate customers, but small enough to care about every machine and every customer.
Today, Delta operates a rental fleet of more than 1,400 forklifts, supporting customers throughout South Africa as well as operations in other Southern African countries. Our nationwide operation is backed by skilled forklift technicians on the road, service vehicles, dedicated technical support and our own fleet of rollback trucks, allowing us to transport forklifts quickly when equipment needs to be delivered, collected or brought into one of our workshops.

Delta has its own dedicated forklift parts division carrying more than 12,000 SKUs, with genuine and quality aftermarket parts available for a wide range of forklift makes and models.
Our technical capability extends considerably further than routine forklift servicing.
Delta operates one of the most comprehensive forklift workshop facilities in South Africa, equipped to undertake everything from general repairs and major mechanical rebuilds to advanced electrical and electronic diagnostics.
We also have the specialist capability to diagnose and repair electronic forklift controllers at component level, allowing certain electronic faults to be repaired in-house rather than simply replacing expensive complete controllers.
This combination of parts availability, workshop capability and experienced technicians helps us reduce downtime and keep our customers’ equipment working.
