DeltaLift 14-18 Ton Diesel Forklift
Reliable diesel-powered material handling across multiple load-capacity options.
Choose the model that matches your load, available operating space and application. The range includes compact units through to heavier-capacity options depending on site needs.
Availability and configuration are confirmed during quotation. Model selection should be based on the actual load, load centre, aisle or yard space, lifting height and duty cycle.
Product Overview
The DeltaLift 14-18 Ton Diesel Forklift range is intended for heavy-capacity material handling where standard industrial forklifts do not provide sufficient rated capacity. The three listed models allow businesses to select a 14-, 16- or 18-ton starting point while retaining the familiar counterbalance forklift format.
These forklifts can be considered for substantial palletised goods, machinery components, steel, timber, building materials and other heavy loads on suitable load-bearing surfaces. The catalogue imagery shows a heavy-duty mast and operator station designed around a large-capacity machine, but the final mast, forks, tyres, attachments and operator-protection equipment must be confirmed for each application.
Because high-capacity loads can vary significantly in size, centre of gravity and handling method, model selection should never be based on load weight alone. Delta Heavy Equipment can assess the complete load and site requirement before preparing a quotation.
Configuration
Each quotation should identify the selected model and complete scope of supply. This should include the engine and transmission specification, mast and lift height, forks, carriage, tyres, hydraulic controls, attachment requirements, operator-protection equipment, lighting, alarms, cameras or visibility aids and any optional accessories included in the price.
Delta Heavy Equipment can assist with model selection, site and load assessment, quotation and after-sales requirements. Delivery, commissioning, operator familiarisation, planned maintenance, parts and technical support should be stated clearly in the quotation rather than assumed to be included.
Safety and Operating Suitability
Only trained and authorised operators should use the forklift. The machine must be operated within the capacity stated on its data plate and according to the operator manual, approved attachment instructions, site traffic plan and applicable safety requirements. Capacity can reduce substantially as lift height, load centre and attachment offset increase.
Before operation, inspect the forklift, load and travel route. Confirm that floors, yards, ramps, loading areas, docks and transport decks can support the combined machine and load mass. Secure and stabilise the load, maintain visibility, use installed restraints and operator-protection systems correctly and keep personnel clear of the operating zone. Diesel exhaust must be managed through suitable ventilation and site controls.
Frequently Asked Questions
